Australian Designed and Engineered Special Edition Ford Everest BaseCamp Back by Popular Demand

MELBOURNE, November 12, 2020 – With more and more Australians taking road trips and choosing off-roading adventures, the Ford Everest makes the perfect companion. Designed and engineered in Australia, the Everest is the perfect choice for unique bush and outback terrain, and Australian car buyers now have two new models to choose from; the special edition Everest BaseCamp and Everest Sport in rear wheel drive (RWD), along with the Everest Trend and Titanium models sporting a new look grille.

Everest BaseCamp

Back by popular demand, the Everest BaseCamp features bold new styling and a rugged appeal that matches Everest’s outstanding off-road capabilities. The limited run of 450 vehicles are based on the Everest Trend 4x4 3.2L and 2.0L Bi-Turbo variants and come with a raft of features designed to make discovering the great Australian outdoors easier. The Ford Everest BaseCamp Special Edition, priced at an additional $22001 including fitment, represents $6000 of value and includes the following:

  • 76mm Diameter Black Nudge Bar
  • Ford Licensed LED Light Bar
  • Ford Genuine Snorkel
  • Black Roof-mounted Carry Bars
  • Pioneer Platform
  • Genuine Sunseeker Awning
  • Ford Genuine Tow Bar rated to 3,000kg (3.2L) and 3,100kg (Bi-Turbo)

The confident styling includes BaseCamp decals on both front doors, bolder grey painted grill, front bumper skid, rear bumper skid, fender vents and wheels. Everest BaseCamp will be available in Australian showrooms from mid-December.

Everest Sport

The popular Everest Sport is an athletic, uniquely styled, highly-capable vehicle and following a successful launch of the 4WD model in 2019, is now available in RWD. Featuring the same 2.0L Bi-Turbo powertrain delivering 157kW/500Nm, Everest Sport’s premium appeal is enhanced by:

  • 20” black painted alloy wheels
  • Black painted mesh grille
  • Black front and rear bumper
  • Black tailgate applique

A design update on the grille of the 2021.25MY Everest Trend and Titanium offers a fresh, premium and more modern appearance. Both variants will feature a chrome grille with grey mesh, with the Titanium also coming with ‘EVEREST’ in 3D lettering on the hood.
